Jersey Boys - Review

Oh what a night you’ll have at the Alexandra theatre Birmingham as the Jersey Boys are back in town.

Follow the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. From the streets of New Jersey all the way to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They were just four ordinary guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard… and the radio just couldn’t get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story that has made them an international sensation all over again.

The show features all their big hits including “Sherry,”“Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” “Beggin’,” “December 1963 (Oh What a Night)” besides many more.

The 20th Anniversary tour boasts a stellar cast, lead by Luke Baker (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Sheffield/West End; Billy Elliot, Curve Leicester) as Frankie Valli, Carlo Boumouglbay (Muriel’s Wedding, Curve Leicester; Miss Saigon, international tour) as Tommy Devito, Lewis Kennedy (All male Pirates of Penzance, Wilton’s Music Hall) as Nick Massi, Toby Miles (Les Misérables, West End; School of Rock, international tour) as Bob Gaudio and Ellis Kirk (Dear Evan Hansen, West End/Asia tour) as Alternate Frankie Valli.

So go on and watch those Jersey Boys as the original Tony Award winning sensation is back on the road for the 20th anniversary tour. This was my second time seeing the show and I absolutely loved it. There’s something about hearing all the iconic hits.

Jersey Boys is on at the Alexandra Theatre until Saturday 21st November 2026 tickets are available at the following link https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/jersey-boys/the-alexandra-theatre-birmingham/
