Completely sold out at the Barbican in London, this unmissable production arrives direct from the West End—a rare chance to experience one of the greatest musicals of all time.
From the powerhouse creative team directed by Jordan Fein (Oklahoma, Young Vic), choreographed by Julia Cheng (Cabaret), and designed by Tom Scutt (2025 Olivier Award winner for Fiddler on the Roof), this staging is both audacious and deeply moving.
Set in 1905 in the small village of Anatevka, the story follows Tevye, a Jewish milkman who clings to tradition while raising five daughters. As each daughter challenges his beliefs against the backdrop of a turbulent world, Tevye must decide whether to hold fast to his roots or embrace the unfamiliar.
Featuring beloved songs such as If I Were a Rich Man, Tradition, Matchmaker, and Sunrise, Sunset, this timeless musical is an exuberant celebration of love, family, and community.

The performance was tremendous—poignant, captivating, and often humorous. The cast delivered phenomenal performances, bringing warmth and depth to every character. The set design, with its rising cornfields and atmospheric lighting, beautifully enhanced the storytelling and immersed the audience in Anatevka’s world. Highlights included the dream sequence, which combined farcical humour with comedic brilliance, drawing waves of laughter from the crowd.
Fiddler on the Roof continues at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham, until Saturday 3 January 2026. Tickets are available at the following link: ATG Tickets.
